Ground Information

Gresty Road has a capacity of just over 10,000 although the Main Stand holds half of this amount on its own and quite simply dwarfs the other 3 stands. However, with all the regeneration work that has taken place since the early 90's, the stadium is now a very pleasant one to visit and there are very few bad seats in the house. On top of this, the club now boast some of the best disabled facilities in the football league. Here is a little bit of information about each of the stands:

Air Products Stand - Opened in time for the 1999-2000 season, this stand cost just over £5 million to build and houses things like the dugouts and the club’s offices.

Mark Price Stand - Regardless of who sponsors it, this stand will only ever be known as The Gresty Road End to supporters. It is a small, single-tier structure that often houses the most vocal Crewe fans.

Whitby Morrison Ice Cream Van Stand - This single-tier stand is where the away supporters are housed and used to be called The Popular Side.

The Wulvern Housing Stand - Standing behind the goal at the opposite side of The Gresty Road End, this single-tier stand houses the club’s family section.

Away fans

Visiting supporters are situated in the Whitby Morrison Ice Cream Van Stand running along one side of the pitch. Up to 1,700 fans can be catered for and if the allocation is sold out, try to avoid being at the back. There are two supporting pillars that affect the view of a small number of seats in the top few rows.

Away pubs

Most public houses welcome away fans, though the fact that nearly all have security on the door can be slightly off-putting for many visiting fans. Away fans are welcome in Clancy's Bar, The Bank, Last Orders Inn and The Office all within a couple of minutes walk of the ground. There are many fast food, sandwich and pie outlets situated on Gresty Road and in the surrounding area.

Car Parks & Public transport

There is space for 400 cars in behind the Railtrack stand and if this is full when you arrive, street parking is freely available in the surrounding areas within a 10 minute walk of the stadium. Alternatively buses run regularly to and from the stadium so access is very easy.
